He is active in industry and advocacy as a member of the South Australian Premier’s Climate Change Council, current State President of the Australian Institute of Landscape Architects, and a past National President. A local Adelaidean, he is passionate about the city and how design thinking and architecture can offer social and cultural expression to shape places and the people in them. He has been pivotal in the delivery of ground-breaking work for ARM in South Australia, leading the Riverbank works and Adelaide Festival Plaza.

Philippe’s interest and expertise lies in stakeholder engagement, where he has a unique ability to understand the traditions and context of projects to offer an appropriate and meaningful blend of experimentation and innovation. He is particularly skilled in using 3D software to explore and develop architectural design ideas and tell stories within the work. These are often in original, pioneering or inventive ways. His virtual models are used to communicate with clients and stakeholders as well as during construction phases to assist builders and subcontractors.
